Accessory: Extensometer- High Strain

Designed for plastics, rubber and elastomer testing, this extensometer has very long travel. The unique design allows testing to failure and minimizes interaction with the sample. The extensometer body remains stationary during testing, held in position by an adjustable magnetic base. Only the light, traveling cord attachments move as the sample elongates during a test. These are attached to the sample with spring clips. Each head pulls a cord from the extensometer as the head moves. The extensometer uses high precision, low friction potentiometers to provide infinite resolution and excellent long term stability. The extensometer is provided with a conditioner, calibration and cabling.
