Calibration Services
To ensure that your test system is delivering accurate data, annual calibration by a trained technician is essential. Bose® Field Service Engineers have the expertise to properly calibrate your test instrument. Bose has a special annual calibration program to make this important procedure a simple process.
The Bose Annual Calibration Program
The Bose ElectroForce Systems Group provides an annual reminder to all customers who use our calibration services. Here's how it works. Approximately two months prior to the due date of your next calibration, we'll provide a reminder that your calibration is coming due. That will provide ample time to schedule the calibration visit to your facility prior to the end of the one year calibration interval. After we perform the calibration at your site, our technicians provide you with the system calibration certificate and we archive that same certification at our facility as an extra level of security.
Please call 1-866-835-1800 or e-mail electroforceservice@bose.com to schedule a calibration, receive a calibration quotation, or to ask any questions regarding the calibration of your system.
Important Calibration Guidelines
According to most standards, such as ASTM, recalibration should be performed one year after the initial calibration was performed as part of the installation. The system should remain on a schedule of annual calibration providing the most recent calibration data does not exceed 1% of as found calibration data. If a system is found to be outside of the 1% range it should be calibrated at more frequent intervals. Also, calibration should be performed anytime a system has been repaired or moved. The only way to ensure your test system is delivering accurate test data is to perform annual calibrations.
Bose Calibration and Support Plans provide additional Support
